Trade Portal Salespeople

Marlin GTX salespeople need to be configured with web access, in order to use trade portals.

Portal access and passwords can be configured using the Salesperson Details tab of a user's Staff Maintenance file.

Note — Technicians cannot access trade portals, only salespeople.

Salesperson Access

Salesperson access can be viewed and edited by opening the relevant Staff Maintenance file in **Edit** mode.

• Newer versions: Main > Staff > Manage Staff
• Older versions: System > System Files > People > Salespeople

To set portal access for a salesperson:

• Click on the Salesperson Details Tab at the top
• Use the Portal Access Level drop-down to set appropriate access
• Enter a Portal Password for them to log in with

Note — In older systems, these fields are in the general Details tab.
